Aren't they cute? Well, Ben thinks so anyway. These are the "fruits" of his labors down in Georgia over vacation. He worked hard to catch 6 anoles (otherwise known as lizards). I heard he actually caught six, but only four reached Nanny's house........not sure where the other two went.......maybe in Uncle Alan's car???? (Sorry, Elizabeth!) Believe it or not, they all survived the trip back to Ohio. Fortunately, we had an extra 10 gallon aquarium in the barn so we only had to purchase a lid for the top (we wouldn't want any to escape!) We now have three as he was generous sharing one with a co-worker of Burlin's.
Hope you enjoyed this glimpse into Ben's Reptile Collection! He has really enjoyed researching online about how to care for and feed his "precious pets". Who knows what creature may find refuge in our home next!
Well, we don't seem to be missing any lizards down here! there are still plenty crawling up the screen! Glad Ben is enjoying "his treasures" from Georgia! He is amazing with his creatures!
