While looking for a new soup idea, I came across this recipe for pretzels. I have often wanted to try making pretzels, but never have. I had originally planned to make them for the super bowl, but forgot all about it! In fact, I bought some salsa con queso dip special for this recipe, but then couldn't remember what I had wanted to make! :)
I came across the recipe yesterday, and decided I would make a batch to go with supper!

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

- Twist into pretzel shapes. Place on greased baking sheets; brush with egg. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Brush again with egg; sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake 10-13 minutes longer or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks. Serve pretzels warm with dip.
